Greg Fountain, 16. “I got my first skateboard at age 5. I think I started getting serious around 2002 when I skated my first contest. It was the Vans AM in Kansas City. I did not place but I found out then that I want to compete. I have been in many contests since, with my latest in Tampa Florida, the Tampa AM. I really like getting to meet the other skaters and traveling."
Greg has earned a black belt in Kenpo Karate and is currently studying Kendo (the art of the sword). He enjoys drumming and jamming with his friends. He is also an artist and is into drawing and pottery. You will often find Greg and his brother, Jordan, working on skate videos.
The best thing about skateboarding is- “You can be your own person!”
