The first of 2 new decks produced form the original Master Templates discovered in Orange County, CA. This deck was produced as a batch of 100 in 1978 and as the boards and sizes changed rapidly, it was never produced as the sizes grew to the wide models and beyond. Therefore, this deck and it's 9.25" brother are now available as authentic ALVA "Missing Link" models. We decided to have a true master in the skate fabrication elite produce them as originally done, attention to detail, right down to the "Sparkle Grip" they came with back in the day! Chuck Hults painstakingly hand shaped these decks exactly how they were originally done!

POWER STATION PROJECT
Regarded by the world as the godfather of modern skateboarding - the ever
electric Tony Alva of Alva Skates - has joined with Michael Early and Pool
King Skateboards on a collaboration of deck designs of shapes and art. The
Power Station Project is a design concept founded in fluid surf lines and
fused into functional, progressive, limited-edition skate decks. There are
a total of 4 models all of various shapes and art. Each deck is unique for
its intended use, but all based on functional and aggressive surf influences.
We've stripped away all the extra baggage leaving a refined precision high-end
skate deck. Up for your viewing pleasure are the first 2 models-- the DEAD
PIRAHNA and the DOGSTAR.

Other: Designed by longboard veteran Jeff Tatum, the 37 inch Power Tool is another new addition to our growing Pool King family of decks. At 37 inches long it does not take much getting used to if you are coming off a standard size pool deck. The 19.5 inch wheel base makes this a stable ride and the 8 inch width is narrow enough to be very maneuverable in pools and parks. A great mid size deck for cruising streets, banks or parks. Other: Michael Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. As well as being somewhat of an "untraditional" pool shape, Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. These composite decks are generally 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and seem to retain their "pop" or stiffness for a longer time as well.
After many requests about wheelbase changes and truck set up, we decided to add a double wheel well feature to the Pirate Large deck. You can run the Randall style truck or drill and adjust the wheelbase to optimize your style!
